San Diego Cont.

We also hit up Balboa park, cause we missed when the zoo was going to open. Next time baby pandas, next time.

And this Tree totally reminds me of Jurassic Park, no?

San Diego

We went down to (stay classy) San Diego this weekend, which was really fun. We stopped in Temecula on the way, wine growing area, and did some tasting. Delicious stuff, and we could only handle three vineyards before we decided that was enough, we were oging to float the rest of the way down.

That night we went out with some of Tim and Amy's friends from NIH, who were very sweet, nice dinner in the Gaslamp district, which is where all of the resurants are. Then we went to Dick's last Resort, and experience I had had in Boston many moon's ago and thye encouragement of Ellen, and well similar times ensued. While none of us got hats that said something foul, we did manage to consume three of these bad boys. I don't know what I was thinking. Needless to say, we felt awesome in the morning. I thought large would be like a pint glass, Nope! 40 oz of Rocky Mountain Bliss

The Drive!

The drive down to california, is well, several thousand miles, but with the helpof my Australian accented Friend Tomtom, we made it in two days, with a quick stop at the World reknownded Peasoup Anderson's. Delicious Stuff!

We also bought traveling Hats for the journey, which actually came in handy when my face was getting burned by the hot california sun on the drive down. My says, "I rode the Bull" and Margaret's is "I am fantastic in dark places"- which is incredibly apt!

And Mt. Shasta, while slightly shorter than Mt. Ranier, is incredibly pretty!

It's About Time!
About time I got this going again. Let's do a quick recap:

Hawaii was awesome, especially cause Jezebell and Akhdr (rachel and james) and Buddah were there. It was nice to see them. I only got about four good pictures tho, which is a bit despressing, but I was lazy, so that's what I get I suppose
