Scotland |
I once had a professor named David Crane. Those of you who were in London with me, know him. Now I am headed to scotland for a week the begining of october and really want to find this man. He is one of the most amazing people you will ever meet. He and his wife, Honor, it sounded like he said her name was Anna, welcomed two of my friends and I into his house in the Highlands (his address was 'the last house by the shore': i joke you not), so smart, and just absolutely wonderful.
I have no idea if he even still lives in scotland, and I have been trying to get a hold of his publishers, anyone who might know the ruddy old fellow.
Sometimes, and this has always been rare for me, you meet a professor or an individual with whom you truely get along. I have had very few teachers that I have ever really liked, and i hit myself for not keeping in touch with him. We just got along so well, he's been to so many cool places, and he is just so excited about everything.
I have this great picture of his house i took, i'll see if I can post it.
He does write dreadfully boring books I'm afraid, like "Lord Byron's Jackal: the life of Edward Trewlyny"
